Fateh Sagar Lake: Maharana Fateh Singh built this beautiful lake, surrounded by numerous hills on the three sides and the Pratap Memorial on the north. The lake consists of Nehru Park in the center of the lake - a beautiful garden island with a café where you can also enjoy a boat ride.
Jagdish Temple: This Indo-Aryan Temple made by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651 AD, is the largest and the most beautiful temple of Udaipur, with many intricately sculpted idols displaying the fine Indo-Aryan architecture. The temple of Jagannath Rai, now called Jagdishji, is a major monument and should be seen carefully. Completed in 1651, it encloses a double storied Mandapa (hall).
Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandir: This Indian Folk Arts Museum displays folk dresses, puppets, masks, dolls, ornaments, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings.
Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Garden of the maids of honour): This small garden made for the queens and the maids, has many fountains and other important figures.
Pratap Memorial: This memorial stands atop the Moti Magri or pearl hill and overlooks the Fateh Sagar Lake. The memorial pays homage to the Rajput warrior Maharana Pratap whose bronze statue along with his horse 'Chetak' stands here.
Pratap Museum: The museum houses the old sculptures and inscriptions. One can see the antique paintings of Mewar and the turban worn by prince Khurram (Emperor Shahajahan) on display, which was gifted to Maharana Khazan Singh by Shahjahan.
Ahar: Three kilometers away from Udaipur, this former capital of Sisodia's is an excellent memorial of the rulers of Mewar. A government museum within its precincts has a rare collection of antiquities including iron objects, earthen pots and other art items.
Sajjan Garh: The most popular monsoon palace in Udaipur is Sajjangarh, which also provides a spectacular and majestic view of the palaces, lakes and gardens in the city.
Gulab Bagh and Zoo: Gulab Bagh is a beautifully laid rose garden built by Maharana Sajjan Singh. It also encloses a library that houses a rare collection of ancient handwritten manuscripts and books. A zoo is also adjoined to the garden, where you can find tigers, leopards, chinkara and many other wild animals and birds.
Dudh Talai: A rock garden in Udaipur, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the dusk and the old city while standing amidst the Lake Pichola. Musical Fountain within this garden is another major tourist attraction for the visitors.
